For high traffic floors Treatex HardwaxOil Clear can be mixed in the ration 10:1 to Treatex Hardener to increase the mechanical resistance of the finished surface. Treatex Hardener can be used in one or both coats of Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear. Adding Treatex Hardener to Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear Starts a chemical reaction which can't be stopped, the mixture will set in the tin even with the lid on! The mixture remains usable for up to three hours, so only mix enough for one coat at a time.
