Easily applied. Works a treat and looks good. It Would be useful to get some info on the website that lets the buyer know area the product will cover by weight. At the moment coverage is given by volume only and the product is sold by weight.

I bought mature lime putty as a flexible solution to my lime needs for a 2* star Georgian house conservation project (in this case a cellar). So far I've used it in sieved limewash which works great. Image is after 6 coats though to be fair I'm still working out the mix for best results. A £60 spray gun, a sieve, a paddle mixer, bucket and eye protection and it goes on a treat First ever after attending a SPAB training course on limewashing. The wall wash brushed with a Yorkshire trading stiff scrubbing brush to remove loose friable material. Then sprayed with water to damp surface. Then sprayed with the limewash, left for two or so hours or overnight to dry. Excellent results and very little dusting off once gone off. Be patient. I'm so impressed as it was my first attempt to paint my cellar.
