“Convenient but a danger to hands - splinters! They burn really nicely in my open fire, but it's very hard and unreliable trying to whack them in half, or get a smaller piece off the end of a log. So, mixed feelings. There's another kind of wood briquettes I have used which Calido doesn't supply, when I can find those, I prefer them to Calido's, for my hands' sake.”
