“The 30 m Cat6 UTP LDPE RJ45 patch lead was used to connect an xbox to a Virgin Media hub to fet around poor WiFi signal. The cable performs very well. A speed test resulted in roughly 100mb/s which was much better than the patchy WiFi previously. The xbox isn't good at running speed tests so other uses would no doubt achieve different results.
The cable itself seems sturdy and is flexible enough for the most part. You can't bend it around tight corners but that goes for all cable of this type. It's definitely as good quality as some of the more expensive offerings on Amazon and the ability to specify the length you want when ordering is brilliant.”
“Cat6 connectors are the same size as Cat5 & connect directly into a BT router & desk top computer. Cable is the same diameter but less pliable than an internal cable, making tight corners difficult to achieve.”
