“5m cable for some reason was very bad, it performed worse than the other cables, as far as I can tell it is not shielded well, and instead has double foil; this meant despite the extra length reducing my reflection issue, the interference was so bad that it performed worse than the shorter cables. the cable itself seemed dusty and old and didn't have the same quality or build as the others, potentially it was just old stock but it seemed used, not new, and might have been faulty. it will function perfectly fine as a cat5e cable but it doesn't meet the needs I have that required cat6a to begin with. I might try to buy 5m in other colours to see how they compare, and I would have certainly preferred to get the "wrong" colour sent to me, rather than what I received.”
