18mm square edge white fascia board are much thicker than the 10mm capping fascia boards and are used on new build developments or for fully replacing existing wooden fascia boards. Before installing the fascia boards, the rafters & joists must first be checked and repaired to a good condition. The fascia boards are then fixed in place using stainless steel plastic headed nails 65mm nails are recommended for this.
