The Comb-Canopy door canopy is a low cost and easy to install solution for providing a rain shelter over doorways. Manufactured from engineering plastic for the arms, a durable aluminium profile for connecting and strong polycarbonate sheet for glazing this is light weight and long lasting. The arms are specially designed to take the aluminium profile and glazing sheet on both sides, this allows for larger shelters to be installed by joining several canopies together side by side, and if required the sheet and trim can be cut to make the canopy smaller. The door canopy is supplied with the screws for assembly and expanding bolts for fixing the canopy to masonry.

Hi We are sorry to hear this, the only time we have ever had such an issue is when the canopies where not fixed to the wall correctly. Fixings should never be in a mortar line, as this is not a secure fixing point and the bolts can pull out as the mortar disintegrates around it, they should only ever be mid brick. We know it is much more difficult to drill the prick than the mortar, but that is because this is the strong part. If the frame is not secured properly then the stresses and bending moments are much greater as there is a bigger lever on the rest of the framework.
