“This is my first paint ball marker, and all I can say is it vastly exceeded my expectations! Although the outer body is made of a polymer, it feels like a tough engineering plastic, like a reinforced nylon. The mechanics are metal, and the overall feel of the marker is solid and professional. One thing I slightly miss is a mechanical safety: once the gun is gassed up, the trigger is always live. As for performance - WOW! My X-RADAR clocked my first few shots (rubber ball at 1.15 grams) over 400 fps! Eventually, after several quick fire shots, the fps came down into the upper 300s (eg, 383, 392, etc). For my second mag, I loaded chalk balls (slightly lighter, at 0.9 grams). Again, many shots were over 400fps, and the rest, comfortably in the high 300s again. The report was surprisingly loud - definitely a “bang” rather than a “phut” as I’d expected, and shots penetrated a heavy cardboard box and came out the other side (rubber), or splatted nicely on a brick wall (chalk). I’ve since bought 4 spare mags (making 5 in total), and an Amazon Basics small laptop bag, which keeps the gun, the mags, and other bits and bobs altogether. LOVE IT!”
