“Handy Co2 powered ·50 cal revolver. Can be used in target practise quite well. Enjoy using spare hours casting loads of fresh bullets for it. The trommel ( cylinder equivelent) is quick & very easy to load with 6 bullets. It now hangs on my pegboard panel with the other 16 revolvers !!, in a place of honour.”

“Nice, high power and very loud. I do like the upper and lower picatinny rails and it's certainly weighty. It feels more like good a polymer - not at all like cheap plastic. So the finish is 9/10 Ammo flexibility is good. Unlike the HDP50, which can only handle round ammo, the HDR50 will also take large .50 skirted pellets,. saboted BBs and I've even found some reusable skirted BB sabots. I love that you can leave the sealed CO2 in the gun and strike the "priming" button to pierce it for use. That's a clever little mechanism... and the "primed" indicator is excellent and doubles as a de-pressurise pin when the CO2 pressure is low enough. Negatives? Only one, but it may be a biggie... The trigger pull is truly awful! A crunchy first stage rotates the cylinder but makes very hard work of it. Then suddenly, there's a soft second stage with a long travel and the barest of pressure increase (second pressure) just before the shot. Here's the problem... if you try to take all the stages at once, it is a very long complex pull that will undoubtedly cause accuracy issues... it feels unwieldy and awkward. For accuracy, you'll want to break the action up... so, I aim away and complete the first stage of the pull ... then take aim and find the final pressure, ready for a smooth shot.. and here's where the action goes completely wrong... ... If your first stage pull isn't FAST the barrel rotates ALMOST to the next chamber, but doesn't quite make it. This is because the last part of the rotation is made on momentum alone. ... so, you take the shot and nothing comes out. Or. you notice and have to finish rotating the barrel by hand. So, it's a long unwieldy pull that feels horrible and offers little control at all - or, you break it up and struggle with the cylinder not aligning properly and having to rotate the barrel by hand. This gun will work for close range w/ jerky pulls. Overall, I'd give this a 7/10. I love its power and feel, but the action lets it down. The cylinder should automatically fall into alignment once you're past halfway... without relying on momentum : ( Fix the trigger/cylinder issue and it's an easy 9/10”

“Fantastic gun, great power, easy to reload co2, do not be fooled by YouTube reviewers saying 7.5j is weak, it is plenty powerful enough! It really likes rubber ammo, accurate as well. First class service, will definitely be purchasing again from them!”
