“I have hired large floor sanding machinery in the past but found this belt sander did a better job. It was certainly more time consuming but I felt I could get close to the floor and pay more attention to quality. I used lots of belts of varying grits and none of them broke. They were easy to change and didn't travel on the belt like on some tools. It is quite a heavy piece of kit and powerful. It enabled me to sand edges well (not corners) My only complaint is that the dust bag isn't as effective as it could be and I still ended up with dust absolutely everywhere.”

“Very impressive for the money. Made short work of a heavily stained teak table that previous sander struggled with. Very powerful, easy to handle and really good dust bag too. Makita MT range seems good vfm.”
