“We ordered on-line from Burnhills and a package arrived fairly rapidly but turned out to be the wrong boots- not just a wrong size but the wrong style- a pair of lace up walking boots with no steel toecap! This meant about an hour messing around phoning up Burnhills several times, taking photos of the boots and label on the package and emailing them to Burnhills. The right ones turned up several days later and were exchanged for the wrong ones but it was a bit of a pain really and such a basic error- it said on the box what was inside! Did no one think to read the box? The jodhpur boots when they came are fine. They're boots, they fit, they work.”
“My last pair of these boots lasted for more than 10 years, and actually are still wearable if a bit battered and stretched around the ankle! So of course I went for the same again. Very little has changed in the design and I’m looking forward to many years of happy wearing. Are they heavy? Yes - they have steel toecaps and shanks. But we all know accidents can happen around horses and yards and I feel very protected in these boots plus it’s like wearing ankle weights and getting a workout! So you won’t want to go for a hike in them but they are perfectly comfortable for working around the yard, leading horses, and for riding in.”
“When I got my delivery I’d been sent the wrong boots,I thought it was going to be an absolutely nightmare sending them back and they were amazing,They collected the boots from my place of work the next day and changed them for the ones I’d ordered, they were brilliant.
Chuffed to bits with my boots.”
“Brilliant product, been wearing them for years. I have 2 pairs at all times, one for stable yard work/rough ground, and a pair for if I am judging horse shows, especilly if there are youngstock classes. Always have a new pair in the wardrobe as a 'spare'
The ones I am wearing, I bought 3 years ago and still going strong!
They are the most comfortable footwear I have ever put on mt feet! Cannot recommend them highly enough!”
