“This is an excellent product. I already had the smaller version but as they are quite narrow and only allow 2 chickens (maybe 3 at a push - literally!) to feed I wanted another as I increased my flock size. It is well constructed, very robust and completely waterproof. Excellent rat deterrent. The chickens get used to it very quickly. I hold the treadle down with a brick for about a week so they know where to go and then they just have to work it out ... usually one of the greedier hens works it out and then they all get it. Fantastic product.”
