“Used these spikes for building a low (2 foot) safety fence around a pond. With heavy clay soil and numerous big flints, the short length of these spikes (300mm) is mostly all that is needed or even possible to drive fully in. Also bought some of the longer spiked ones (450mm) for those rare positions where flints were absent. I like the bolt/clamp design for gripping the 50mm square posts (other manufacturers tend not to offer this design below 75mm) and the price made them very good value.”
