“Well, it’s a sheet of 12mm birch ply. Decent quality and well protected for delivery, although that’s a lot of cardboard to dispose of at this end. It got ‘stuck’ in transit at the carrier’s depot for a few days but Builders Marketplace were efficient at chasing them to deliver. I’ll use BM again for material I can’t get locally.”
“The delivery is a complete disaster! I ordered a whole sheet of birch plywood with two specific panels to be cut to size, a total of four panels. Builders Market Place said delivery by a certain day but did not specify which day. Also no contact whatever from Tuffnells the courier! So no surprise yesterday afternoon one panel arrived and was left behind the garage. The panel is not one of the specified to be cut to size!!!!!!!! I'd like to submit a no stars review but don't think it's possible. I'll be chasing customer services today for a partial refund and won't be shopping with you again John Potter York UK.”
“Well construched birch plywood. But ruined by Builders Merchant. Arrived so badly damaged that it was utterly unusable. Attempts to return it fruitless. Avoid this company like the plague.”
“Good quality blemish free birch ply which is hard to get hold off (it’s mostly Russian). Well protected for delivery though the delivery company Tufnells made a good effort to ruin the board by allowing the packaging to get soaked in the rain at some point in its journey. Fortunately careful drying saved the board. Builders Marketplace were good to deal with and helpful over the phone.”
