“I have 2 cavaliers, one elderly, one puppy. This product worked well for the older dog and I used it for my puppy with a result of very runny poo. We discovered that the pup is intolerant of chicken - apparently not an uncommon condition. This product contains chicken fat, but it is only listed in very small print among the ingredients.
I feel that Buddy and Lola could improve their labelling.

“The media could not be loaded. We have a spaniel with a sensitive tummy and after her spay surgery she was really struggling with loose stools. We followed the usual home treatment and a strong medical stool aid and then introduced these alongside her normal food to aid her gut health and healing. We have to say, this was the quickest her tummy has ever settled after a poorly spell. While we cannot comment on if these helped her stool firm (although, not sure they are really targeted at that anyway) they do seem to be helping restore the balance in her tummy. We are currently trailing some different food (along with her normal food) and there has been no negative side effects. knowing our dog, that is due to these chews. I am willing to pay more for something that works but have marked it as a 4/5 as she needs two of these a day and to spend this much money each month is quite a lot. We are hoping to ween her off them next month to 1 a day and then move on to the probiotic powder from this brand. As a side point… she is irritated by chicken (not full on allergic, but it definitely doesn’t sit well in her tummy) and she is fine with these. I am NOT a vet so be careful but I know that was a concern for us with her sensitivities and these having chicken flavour.”
