I am very divided with this item, I’m sure it works well if my dog would have actually eaten it with his food but time to time he goes off food for no apparent reason, I mixed the recommended amount with his food and he completely left it and had to prepare something else. This does say for fussy eaters but didn’t work for nine.

Thank you for your review Peter and we are so sorry to read that your dog wouldn't eat their food with the Weight Gainer in it. We have a customer satisfaction guarantee for such times.

A friend has taken on a rescue dog, which really doesn't eat much. This could be from previous trauma or just a change in environment. This seemed worth a shot.Using one scoop per meal (7g) there's plenty in the packet, and thankfully encouraged the dog to start eating a bit more. Result. Actually eating more and of a supplement is a double win. Even if it was nutritionless, it must taste nice enough to encourage eating. The fact it gets eaten and encourages it, and that it will last a while means it can only get 5 stars.

If you are dealing with a dog, which is in a recovery period or is just too active or old to gain some weight, it's a good product for you.I only didn't notice any flavour, how it's written (also in the ingridients there is nothing ).

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve received the product today, but I already have the first meal to Sky, an 8 months underweight Amstaff. We rescued him and he is severely underweight to the point that his ribs, spine, and hips were pointing out.He got a bit better this week with us but still, he needs a LOT more weight. That’s when I saw this product among those I could choose from as an Amazon Voice and I decided to give it a go.The product is a dense powder, smelling like chicken broth and it comes with a measuring spoon. For Sky, I need to use three scoops and I just sprinkle the powder on his croquettes. It mixes very well and Sky as you can see from the video, was very happy with this supplement. My big boy is going to have this supplement every day and in about a week I’ll be able to tell if there have been any changes or not.Up to now, he really likes it and hopefully, it will boost and improve his life. The only cons I have about it is the size of the bag: this size could be perfect for a small to a medium dog but with the size of a large dog, is going to last not too much.**UPDATE**At the third day, we already saw improvements, his hips and spine chord are not so visible anymore and his belly is getting rounder, he is also noticeably more relaxed and his skin, coming with some issues, it's healing faster.I am very happy with it, I give him three scoops for every meal due to his size.

I have 2 dogs of my own that are good weight but I foster a lot of dogs and some of them are in pretty bad shape so this will be a great product to use with them.I have quite a few pet products by this brand and have been happy with all of them.I haven’t used this yet but I’ve opened and it’s a powder with a not unpleasant smell,to me smells meaty but can also smell like bran or cereal kind of smell. It comes with a scoop and dosage is measured in scoops or grams. The powder mixes with food and although can’t see there been any problem mix with food, I will update when use. This will obviously be great for use with underfed rescue dogs but will also be good for elderly dogs or sick dogs as they often have difficulty keep weight on.I use a similar product for my 19yr old cat who is 10 months into cancer diagnosis and although she is underweight her weight has remained stable since I started using.Seems quite expensive on first glance but then our pets are priceless so if works as meant to then is good price
