“It is no use to me as it is too thick to sit comfortably in my trouser pockets. I wrote to Mat Farrar head of Buck Uk on 31 July but the letter was not answered. So much for Buck's customer relations!”

“This item came stamped with 'Made in USA' on both the packaging and the blade. It is the worst-finished knife I have ever had the misfortune to buy! The blade was dirty and the polish - if it can be called polishing - is diabolical. The grinding on the edge looks as if it was done by a trained monkey; there are rough grind-marks all along the edge and the profile of the blade edge has been changed and ruined. Even though the Nano Bantam is inexpensive compared to other Buck knives, it is grossly overpriced compared to other, comparable knives - take a look at YouTube comparisons with the Sanrenmu 640 BUC-PH which is almost a quarter of the price and a far greater standard of finish. How could you even send out an item of such poor quality??? I also bought a Buck 'Apex' knife stamped 'Made in China' and there is nothing wrong with it whatsoever !!!”

“I ordered two pocket knives: a Nano Bantam and an Apex. The Apex states quite prominently on both the box and the blade 'made in China' and this knife is near-perfect in construction and finish. The Nano Bantam states on the box and the blade 'made in USA'. It is the worst finished knife I've ever been conned into buying! The blade is dirty, unpolished to any acceptable degree and the edge looks like it was ground (if you can even call it ground) by a trained monkey!!! There are rough grind-marks all along the length and the contour of the edge has been ruined. On top of this you have charged more than three times the price of a similar knife by Sanrenmu - their 640 BUC-PH. Watch the comparison videos on YouTube!!! I intended to pay for quality, not rip-off rubbish; how could you even send this out???”
