The thin leather sheth is beautifully made , and very durable . This knife has an exspensive feel , with solid wood handles and rich brass bolsters . It's a real shame tradishonal quality like this is dissapiering , but it seems BUCK is going strong . It's great value for money , and a very high quality product . The wood and brass make for high quality materials , and the blade is increadibaly sharp . I would trust this as a survival knife , as well as a hunting knife . The fingur groves add grip , if the handle becomes wet and slippery , but the plain 110 is probably a better choice if your hands are bigger , as the groves can get in the way . Overall this is an exceptional product , of outstanding quality and tradishonal craftmonship . And it's made in the USA , by buck , a coumpany with a long history and exceptional quality .
