“I will admit I was a bit sceptical about giving my 10 month old an electric toothbrush, I thought he was going to hate the vibrating sensation and totally freak out. I couldnt have been more wrong, Alex loves the sonic vibrations and he is obsessed with the toothbrush as it has a light on it. The toothbrush is powered by a single AAA battery and although the vibrations are strong enough to effectively clean little teeth, the power is nowhere near as a high as that of an adults electric toothbrush. The light stays on for 2 minutes to help you make sure you are brushing your little ones teeth for long enough and it also makes the brush really interesting to look at for babies. Like the My First Brush, the head of the Babysonic toothbrush is really small and made up of super soft bristles, gentle on sore teething gums but strong enough to keep those new baby teeth sparkling.”
“Out of all the Brush-Baby products Ive tried, this one has to be my favorite. My daughter has been using this toothbrush since we got it, and its made such a difference in more ways than one! This toothbrush comes with multiple brush heads*: we used both but have settled on the larger one. The toothbrush comes with one AAA battery which is required (and thank you so much to any brand that includes batteries!!!); upon turning on the toothbrush, the brush head lights up! Push the button again and the two minute timer and vibration starts. Push again to shut off. To be honest, I wasnt sure if my toddler would like the vibrating but she loves it! We pretend its a bumblebee buzzing and she wants to use it all the time. It makes me feel better to use a pulsating toothbrush because she has crooked lower teeth, so I must be extra vigilant. And yet the motor on this thing is not too harsh for my little ones mouth. I also like the suggestions on the packaging to divide the childs mouth into four quadrants: upper right, upper left, lower right, lower left. Spend 30 seconds on each quadrant when the toothbrush buzzes, move to the next one.The light has an added bonus which I didnt anticipate: it really helps me to see whats going on in the back of my daughters mouth. Shes starting to cut her two year molars, and with the light on the brush I can see all the way to the far back of her gums. It can even help you see your childs throat if youre checking for something like strep.”

The electric toothbrush has certainly made the brushing experience more fun for Sophie & she is quite happy to use the Applemint toothpaste! I love that the range of products is so extensive items especially designed for newborns all the way up to 6 years +. “I literally had no idea this even existed for babies till I got one.Now, you may be thinking, like I did, why on earth does a baby need an electric toothbrush? But since trying this bad boy, I think why on earth not!? Teaching my daughter to use an electric toothbrush at the tender age of 10 months is probably one of the best things I can do for her oral health. Some days, she is a little afraid of the buzzing and so we just use the light instead. Other days, she absolutely loves it. The point is that as she gets used to it and embraces a vibrating toothbrush, its going to set her up to use an electric one for the rest of her life. And everyone knows that using an electric toothbrush is so much better for your teeth. I really applaud Brush-baby for this product as it means that shell grow up with it (it comes with 2 sized brush heads for babies and toddlers) and so wont ever have a scary, transitioning phase from manual to electric.”

“My son has teeth Lots and lots of them. In fact he is the only one of his group of kiddos that were born in the last 18 months that has all of his teeth. He has been teething since 3 months old and we have been brushing since about 5 months. I personally use an Oral B electric toothbrush and feel that it works much better than a standard manual brush. When I opened the package of the electric kids brush from brush baby, I was ecstatic. My son has some defects in his front teeth and they have worried my wife an I since they first appeared. I am hoping that brushing will help strengthen his enamel and prevent any decay.”
