When I tried with a normal toothbrush, If I was lucky, that tooth would see about 5 seconds of brushing action before my 6 month old got bored/cross/annoyed. The thought of going through this twice a day, EVERY DAY made dentures seem quite appealing! Then I had an epiphany; I tried this chewable toothbrush, smeared a bit of baby toothpaste on it and handed it to her. Somehow, she just knows what to do with the Brush Baby. She clamps her chubby little hand around the silicone handle and chomps on the silicone bristles. It must feel SO good on her sore gums since shell go at it for ages. It keeps her busy, too, whilst I get myself ready. Because she does this independently, toothbrush time has become a happy part of her routine. :-) Now, Adas four-teeth deep into her brushing routine, and she cant get enough of it. What a great start to her developing a healthy, positive attitude to dental hygiene. The only downside is that the version we have is a clear silicone one, so when the brush gets inevitably lobbed, it can be hard to see it to retrieve it again. Perhaps a bold colour or a glow in the dark version would be more visible!

Only started using this morning but so far its a big hit, my son cried when I tried to take it from him! Popped little touch of toothpaste on and off he chewed. Life saver since he throws the biggest tantrums when I try to brush his teeth with a normal toothbrush. Will deffo buy more

Thanks! We use the brush baby chewable toothbrush for the two teeth that have made an appearance. its fab - no battles with attempting to brush her teeth: she does it all herself

This Brush Baby toothbrush is a must! It is so handy for getting my 1 year old to start brushing her teeth (I put the tiniest smear of toothpaste on there). But is is also a great teething toy! The bristles very gently massage the gums for relief. My daughter does not take a dummy so it can be very hard to get a teething gel on her, especially at night - this thing is a saviour.

My two year old is still in the phase of randomly wanting to chew on stuff, and I was intrigued by the unique shape of this piece. The chewable toothbrush is exactly that: its technically a toothbrush because it has bristles all along it, but the whole thing is one piece of silicone. Its really a brilliant idea!
