“A wonderful purchase! Sturdy, heavy wool that feels durable and as if it will last. The wool is not rough to me, but it is not silky smooth either, if you are used to something like thin cashmere jumpers. It makes the whole robe fairly heavy to pick up. The silk also feels of good quality and I have only had one tiny snag (from a cat's claw.)
The patch pockets are of good decent size, lined with silk and will easily fit a smartphone. I appreciate the internal silk ties though I have to admit I rarely use them. This is seriously warm and cosy (while being breathable) and if you live in a cold house or climate this is ideal.
The fit is as advertised. I bought the small and at 34-27-36 it works for me. You could certainly be a little bigger and fit in it. At 5'1 the length hits just above the floor for me, I have to hike it up when going up and down stairs, but I'm sure it would be possible to get it shortened. Being so full coverage, it's excellent for answering the door to the postman early on!
My only slight criticism is that the hanging hook is quite small and made of the silk lining fabric. It's held up fine for a few months so far, but I worry it will eventually pull out. A thicker loop or even metal chain might be better.
Overall, glad I bought this and every day I enjoy wearing it.”

Sadly slightly too big for me, I am a size 12-14, usually 14 in jackets and coats and ordered a large.
No mediums available, so am returning for a refund.
