About Billingham:

Billingham are a family owned company, manufacturing camera bags for the world’s photographers since 1973 alongside a range of leisure and laptop bags. All bags are made in the West Midlands area of England, a region famous for manufacturing. A core reason for Billingham’s longevity is the fact that from the start, the Billingham family were determined that their products would always be made to the very highest standards from the best available materials to provide high levels of protection for their valued contents.

A notable feature of Billingham camera bags is that they are made from a distincive 3-layer waterpoof canvas that never needs reproofing. They also feature genuine top grain leather and solid brass details.

Like any premium product, the quality of materials, design and craftsmanship that goes into creating a Billingham means that it represents a significant investment. It’s important that they don’t just look beautiful, but that they do their job of protecting equipment wherever they are and whatever they’re being used for – year in and year out.

I owned (and still own) most top brands of camera bags, each in different sizes and model, from Ona to ThinkTank, Artisan&Artist to PeakDesign, and many more - leave alone the ones on the cheaper end, like Crumpler, Manfrotto, Domke etc. The Hadley Pro is “the” bag for me. Equal to none in terms of durability, weather resistance, comfort (ultra light for the size), versatility. Easy and convenient to use and carry under any possible circumstance. To give an idea, right now it fits a full pro m4/3 kit: Panasonic G9 with 50-200 2.8-4, GX85 with 15/1.7, 12-60 2.8-4, 8-18 2.8-4, 25/1.4 and the tele-extender 1.4 for the telezoom. In the front left pocket: 2 spare batteries for each body and a filter pouch. In the front right pocket: both the chargers and some cleaning clothes and tissues. Between the camera insert and the back of the bag, my iPad Pro 11 with Magic Keyboard. In the rear pocket, iPhone, battery pack and any papers I might need. Perfect setup for traveling, absolutely comfortable, especially with the optional shoulder strap padding. Once arrived at destination, it is easy to drop the unnecessary stuff and lighten it all for daily walk-arounds. Compared to the Wotancraft or Ona bags, which admittedly are also such a stylish kind of bags, the Billingham wins hands down at least in terms of durability and weather resistance. The FyberNite fabric, compared to the waxed canvas, cordura, or leather, ensures that no water will ever pass through, without needing any re-waxing or maintenance and without smearing your clothes. Also, the lid of the Billingham is the only one properly designed to wrap around the top of the bag and prevent water from getting into it.

I am a working pro who bought my Hadley Pro about 7 years ago at The Photography Show. I use it several times a week and it carries my Nikon D750 with a 16-35mm lens fitted, a spare 24-85mm lens and a Godox Flash. In addition the rear compartment has room for various filters and lens wipes, whilst the front pockets hold my spare batteries and a torch! It’s amazing quality and is hardly marked. The best piece of photographic equipment I have ever purchased!

I have had this bag for at least 5 years now. I just managed to fit a Nikon Z9 body in the left pocket, a Nikon D810 body with battery grip in the right pocket and 3 lenses and a speedlight in the main compartment. A Nikon 70-200 f2.8 vrii with its hood on. A 14-24 f2.8 sline and a 24-70 sline for the Z with their hoods resting on the top of 70-200. In a corner perpendicular to the edge I place the Nikon sb-910 flash. I wouldn't blame you if you didn't believe me, I still don't either, that's why I came to write this. Amazing

Fantastic for my cameras and so comfortable to use. Wish shoulder lead were stronger. Bags are extremely light, although we usually abuse them by over packing, as I said those are fantastic!

My love affair with Billingham Bags started back in 2016 when I ordered a neon red Hadley Pro, and a Black Coloured Hadley small pro. My neon red Hadley Pro has been to Italy England, and Portugal. The most amazing aspect of Billingham Bags is that I can be creative when it comes to packing my 2 cameras a Nikon D3100 as well as a Fuji HS30 Bridge Camera, plus an extra lens as well as battery chargers, They fit perfectly! Billingham Bags are like Dr. Who's Tardis, bigger on the inside than outside. My Hadley small makes for a great everyday bag. I also have Hadley Digital as well as a Hadley 72, I use it for storing my camera cleaning equipment. Billingham Bags display quality without being exclusive, Stylish without being overly metropolitan. They are camera Bags that do not look "Camera Bag" I must not forget to mention the AVEA3 and AVEA5 end pockets. I plan to use the AVEA5 end pocket as a half insert on my Hadley Pro,That's is what I mean about Billingham Bags,What other type of camera Bags encourage their users to be adventurous when packing their camera systems. Billingham Bags Rule!

I received a Billingham Hadley Small PRO camera bag for Christmas. It was the perfect size for my bridge camera & lenses. I was so impressed with the quality & finish that I ordered the Hadley PRO camera bag for my DSLR & lenses. I was not disappointed.
