About Billingham:

Billingham are a family owned company, manufacturing camera bags for the world’s photographers since 1973 alongside a range of leisure and laptop bags. All bags are made in the West Midlands area of England, a region famous for manufacturing. A core reason for Billingham’s longevity is the fact that from the start, the Billingham family were determined that their products would always be made to the very highest standards from the best available materials to provide high levels of protection for their valued contents.

A notable feature of Billingham camera bags is that they are made from a distincive 3-layer waterpoof canvas that never needs reproofing. They also feature genuine top grain leather and solid brass details.

Like any premium product, the quality of materials, design and craftsmanship that goes into creating a Billingham means that it represents a significant investment. It’s important that they don’t just look beautiful, but that they do their job of protecting equipment wherever they are and whatever they’re being used for – year in and year out.

How would you rate the build quality of the bag/product?
Beautifully made, you can tell straight away that this is a top quality bag. It's well padded and very well put together. It holds my Fuji X100V perfectly with or without the wide angle conversion lens. This is my second Billingham bag (the other one's for a larger camera) and I'm delighted with it. Brilliant. Noting more to say!

Great bag that works very well with my Leica M. The bag has a good padding and is rain safe, both protects the camera well even under rough usage. Good workmanship worth every cent.

I read on the Leica Forum that people were saying the Billingham 72 Bag was the perfect bag for the Leica Q2. There were right -- this is perfect for the Q2. Very high quality bag . . . exactly what I have come to expect from Billingham. I think this is my fourth bag from Billingham, and I have been exceptionally pleased with all of them.

Wonderfully designed bag. It’s a perfect fit for the Leica Q with or without the hood. A spare battery and filter fits in the front pocket with room for a little more. I highly recommend the optional strap pad in the matching color — the size is perfect, grip on the bottom works well, and matches beautifully. It fits best when the strap is extended to cross-body length so the pad can more easily snap over the single strap versus two strap layers when adjusted to a shorter length. If I have one suggestion, it would be to change the belt loop design to the Galbin’s double-leather belt loops. The single canvas loop is too low and not secure enough to carry the bag without it flopping outward.

Dear Jim Thank you for your lovely review. We are happy to hear that you are pleased with your new 72 bag and that it works well with your Leica Q. We have added your suggestion about the belt loops to our suggestion board for the design teams perusal. Kind regards Billingham Team
