Its grapes have strong and distinctive aromatic flavour, with characteristics which develop well in the bottle over time. The ideal alternative to a Sauvignon Blanc.Winemaker NotesBacchus was first planted at Biddenden in 2003, and due to the increasing popularity of the variety more were planted in 2018. Bacchus is currently the 4 th most planted grape variety in the UK. Wines produced with Bacchus are dry, highly aromatic and have good acidity.
