“Thankyou Trek Adventures and Shirley for a wonderful week learning to sail in Kefalonia. Luxuria Town was lovely, the sailing tuition was topnotch and the food at beach Tavernas and town restaurants was fantastic. We are a family of four with two teenage boys (14 and 17) and it was a great holiday choice for us all and getting sailing know-how and certificates etc at the end of it all from being complete novices is a big bonus.”

“Brilliant week learning to sail in the beautiful Lixouri bay. Our instructor Barry was fantastic. The whole Trek team made our experience enjoyable and we achieved a huge amount over the week. Highly recommended.”

“Loved our learn to sail week with Barry. Staff are great and really accommodating. Our flight was delayed into the early hours and the communication was exceptional and we were able to find our way in board easily because of this. The environment is stunning and an excellent place to learn to sail. Lots of bays to explore and harbours to practice parking! Lunch breaks were all great and different locations. Instructions were clear and there was lots of hands on experience. There's a lot to take in but you get there in the end! We anchored off shore one night. This was amazing so peaceful and beautiful - worth waking up for the sun rise over the mountains. We are definitely hooked having passed will now look forward to a flotilla holiday in 2023! Thank you an amazing holiday couldn't have had a better week”

“Great service from Trek before we travelled to our Beach Club and Sail to Learn holiday. At both locations in Lixouri the staff, instructors and facilities were great. Excellent value all round.”

“What a fabulous, fun and unforgettable week we had on the Learn to Sail with Shirley who is surely the best, most patient, knowledgeable and skilled sailing teacher in Greece (and elsewhere!). As well as learning a lot we laughed a lot, so it felt like a holiday too. Couldn’t recommend the whole experience more. I’m the third member of my family that Shirley has taught to sail, via Trek. Just one more to go Shirley!”

“What an amazing week of learning to sail!! I was a complete beginner and Shirley was absolutely fantastic, not only was she supportive and nurturing but also motivational, patient and very clear and concise in her instructions. I will never forget the experience and cannot thank Shirley enough for making it such a memorable experience. Shirley you are a true inspiration!!!!”
