“Now on the third version of this model - seems to perform well until it alerts us that it has reached its end of life after ~5-6 years. When this happens, only the main unit has to be changed - the original baseplate can be re-used. My first one failed when still fairly new, but was replaced by the manufacturer free of charge, and there were no problems with its replacement.
The product description says it is for wall-mounting, but it can be used ceiling-mounted.”
