“It was quite tedious and not really appropriate for my 7 year old as got bored after a while doing the same thing. One year a ring binder edition is was better with pictures and word search and crosswords. The bounded version was harder to keep on the right page.”
“I was disappointed with the repetitive content. It's seemed to be virtually the same page throughout with tick boxes for each time you heard a word...nothing to vary and nothing to stimulate my children's thinking or keep attention. I had hoped there would be more activities and that they would be linked to the programme. MY 3 yr and 9 yrs olds would probably find it boring. I hate having to give negative reviews in such circumstances but this feels a rehear expensive item aimed at a closed audience who would find it difficult to say anything negative.”
“My grandsons love getting these every year, their parents tell me how much they help in keeping their attention, I'm sure they will review them with pride when they are older and perhaps show them to their children.”
“I love this book!! This year is the second convention for my 11 year old son & I think it's a fantastic tool to help them listen & take note. 3 days sitting & listening can be tough on them but I'm sure this will help immensely. Thank you very much.”
“This book is ideal for helping with my sons concentration. However, I feel it would benefit from having a spiral spine, as it keeps closing and is then difficult to find his place. Also, it's a handy place to put the pen. This is my sons second year having one and will probably have one next year too. Great idea, thank you so much.”
“Helps to keep the kids busy - my 10 year old son loves his, but his little sister would probably prefer to have a theme related picture to colour in as well”
