“I recently ordered the palacio mattress again for my own bed. Our guest bedroom had all new furniture when we moved a year ago. We bought this mattress with guests including my elderly parents in mind. For comfort this mattress is second to none. All of our guests have complimented us and said it has been the best night's sleep they have ever had away from home. The mattress is soft yet gives wonderful support. After surgery in April I came out of hospital and could not sleep on my own mattress as it was thin, too hard and too low. I slept on the palacio mattress for months. When we finally moved back to our own room it took three nights of terrible sleep before we decided to buy the palacio for our own room. The depth is fantastic, the cushioning is wonderful and there is just enough give at the edges. The only potential down side to this mattress depends on your personal preference. I have always found it to be on the warm side. For me this is great as it is saving me a fortune in electric blanket costs, however for others this would possibly be uncomfortable if you prefer to stay cool at night. For reference we have two solid oak bedframes with solid slats and a central support. The mattress is fairly heavy but our bed supports it well. On my previous metal bedframe with sprung slats this may have been too heavy and solid for the frame.”
