“I am so pleased with this divan base. I wanted a sprung, non-storage option, and I'd spent quite a while 'window shopping', but I couldn't find one in my price range (who has money to spare these days?). Then I found this base and read all the excellent reviews, and I can confirm it lives up to expectations. It's well made, solid and comfortable, and it arrived on the scheduled delivery day, which was only five days after I ordered.

“Spring loaded divan better than a box divan anyday, used my old firm mattress, best nights sleep in years. Could do with instructions and a small screwdriver, would have made things quicker to build.”
“This divan base, could be so much better, with a little more attention to finish, perhaps this because of cost, when compared with other divan bases at double the cost. Good support from springs, but do tend too creak a bit, a little annoying, when you are trying to sleep/rest. I found the service good, my emails were replied to quickly, also very friendly and supportive customer service. We requested a replacement… due to the annoying creaking, which was accepted without any problems. Delivery, good, arrived within the allotted time and was taken upstairs to our bedroom. We had to unwrap the base and assemble the base… there are no instructions… but it is fairly easy to assemble if you take time to workout where the fixings go…. NB you can pay to have this done. Overall, l am fairly satisfied, l have given four stars because of the service and would recommend.”

“I bought a sprung base 4 draw divan bed (no mattress) and it’s been the best purchase ever for my mattress, it’s made the mattress so comfortable and a great nights sleep. The fabric & colour was perfect (crushed velvet in steel). Ordered online, chose my delivery day and they rang me in the morning on the delivery day to say what time roughly it would arrive and it did almost to the minute. I would definitely purchase from Bed Factory Direct again.”
“Really happy with my purchase. Spring divan bases are hard to find at a reasonable price and this was the cheapest small double I could find. Always risky to buy based on price but this is a decent bed bought for my son who loves it. Two man delivery to a room of choice too which was great. Recommended.”
