“Bebeco pacifier is nice and soft. I like that its one whole part so water doesn’t get into it. However the pacifier blocks my baby’s nose so we had to cut it around her nose area to be able to breathe easily. With other words the bit that goes into the mouth is perfect, but the other bit needs reshaping.”

The rounded version (with pre cut holes for air circulation) you ordered is designed to simulate breastfeeding and give the same secure feeling experienced during breastfeeding. We do also have the butterfly version available which has a pre cut out piece around the nose and leaves room for your baby's nose .
The natural rubber soother is moulded as a one-piece and this is what makes it extremely hygienic, as water cannot collect. The large shield you have described is required to be oversized, all rubber soothers will have this measure - it means that the baby cannot swallow the soother so we would strongly advise against cutting or modifying the soother.
