“This is my favorite toothpaste of all. Excellent cleaning, nice and not overly sweet flavor, NO dangerous ingredients (like saccharine or other artificial sweeteners or colors), but with fluoride for decay prevention. Not overly abrasive. Only downside: rather expensive.”
“Was a little afraid of the taste o' the paste, but no problems there. Good value and less additives/artificial stuff to be exposed to. Will not completely switch from our go to toothpaste which is super good at whitening, but rather alternate with this to reduce additive exposure. Its good taste for being made of natural ingredients- but not great taste so thats the 1 star reduction. This taste probably won't satisfy everyone, and for me that's a major criteria.”
“I like the price and scent of this product. I love the suds-ability (if you prefer less suds while brushing, I'd recommend the Hello brand toothpaste!). My only complaint about this Tom's toothpaste is the taste. The closest thing I can describe it as is weirdly salty like a baking soda-like taste. Its still minty! But just baking soda flavored mint and the taste lingers. If you can get past that, it's a great natural toothpaste! Overall great product but unsure if I will continue to purchase it due to the taste.”
“I am very sensitive to men which causes me asthma attacks and makes me choke when I try to brush my teeth. I have tried tons of other toothpaste different flavors. Often these are some kind of alternative organic product with no fluoride which has been annoying to me to have to choose between something I can tolerate the taste of an fluoride which I feel is beneficial to my teeth. This product is really a nice hybrid it has a nice flavor and consistency the cinnamon clove is pleasant and not overpowering. I’m very pleased that this has fluoride in it. It’s a nice hybrid of old school Toms flavor with a modern toothpaste feel in a smooth plastic tube you can squeeze easily. The old aluminum tubes would dent and squeeze all out easily. I do miss how pretty Tom’s tubes used to be with the botanical drawings of plants on them. I also miss the fennel flavor that I used to buy that had a nice licorice taste that I cannot find on the market anymore. Overall however this is a great product I bought the three pack and I’m very happy with having one in each bathroom in the shower. I put this in a brand new shower remodel and I’m not crazy about the blue and purple on the to buy wish it was less tacky. However it’s hard to put a price on healthy teeth and that’s less of an issue then the quality of the product itself. Would purchase again.”
“I'm very sensitive to mint. I literally can't palate standard commercial brand toothpastes. (There are some non-mint flavors out there, but they are not very pleasant either.) Thankfully, Tom's of Maine understands a toothpaste does not need to knock you over the head with the mint. And even more thankfully, they have WINTERMINT. Wintermint, is the only mint (not really mint) that I actually don't mind. I can put a reasonable amount of toothpaste on my brush, and happily brush a full two minutes without gagging or shivering, and my teeth, gums, and taste buds haven't been happier. I've been using this toothpaste for over 20 years and have never looked back.Unfortunately Wintermint is very difficult to still find in stores. Thankfully, Amazon still carries it. I don't know what I'll do if Tom's of Maine stops making it (please don't).”
