“My issue is not with the kontrol tower itself it is with BBQLand customer service approach. I bought this for my partner's birthday and there was an issue with it falling off the vent as the felt gasket had worn away . I contacted BBQLand direct and spoke to a person called Richard who I found very offensive as when I told him it didn't fit and we had thrown the old one away he said we obviously did not own a Kamodo Joe which I found very offensive. Even after sending photos to prove his written approach back was very uninterested and told us that we would need to purchase a new gasket. This is where my partner stepped in as he had warranty with his Kamado and got one sent direct FOC after explaining the negative response I had received from BBQLand. I will not be using #BBQLand again and advised my famous chef friends not to either!!!”
“Bought to fit my Masterbuilt Kamado (Masterbuilt is the company that own Kamado Joe). The new vent didn’t fit as snuggly as the old one, but a bit of rolled up tin foil helped to really secure the vent to my grill. Overall, great addition to my grill.”
