“I am a little disappointed with this smoker. The build was not easy. The instructions were very insubstantial and I had a missing part, which was a nuisance.
Now complete, I am unhappy with the sizeable gaps between the closed lid and the cooking chamber. That's far from ideal for a smoker. The seal on the fire box isn't great either. I feel that I'm going to have to spent even more time and money making some modifications. Had I have known that before I started, I probably wouldn't have purchased it.”
“The Kentucky smoker is very good to have and the food tastes delicious but very disappointed with some aspects of it. It does take quite some time to put together and on completion found that the bottom tray in the oven part was pretty buckled and a chip on one side (which I hope won't rust) . I phoned company where purchased and sent photos when asked and back came the reply that it wasn't unusual and would do no harm but if not satisfied to sent the whole thing back. This I have not done as to take it all to pieces and pack it up is completely unreasonable. Is the quite common that it is buckled? Also the tray in the fire box, after very first use became curved, is this normal?”
