“Excellent product. Installed into my standard Weber 57cm kettle, and paired up with a Fireboard 2. It makes such a difference - though appreciate some might say it takes a bit of the fun out of BBQ'ing. It makes obtaining and maintaining a set temperature incredibly straightforward - whilst also keeping the coals going for far longer than expected. (And that's with an otherwise standard kettle - so no additional gaskets / lid clips, or anything like that.)
I was dreading drilling a hole into my Weber - but it turned out to be incredibly easy, taking all of 5 minutes (including time for my 'measure fourteen times, drill once' approach). Just make sure you have a decent 1" step drill bit - and check out the videos online as to where to place the hole.
All round - great stuff. BBQ Land's delivery was as fast as ever.”
