“Don't start the low fodmap diet without this! It's been so helpful for me. I'd found before that I never stuck to filling out an app-based food diary. I love to write and having a physical book I could carry around with me worked much better. It follows me everywhere and is a constant visual reminder. From my bedside table to my desk. It's also my companion when I cook, there's a handy section in the back that lists foods you can have and quantities. The symptom scales are super handy for charting how you feel morning and night and as they're along the edges of each page, it's easy to flick through the diary and pick out days where you felt good or bad. This allows you to quickly compare what you ate that day. There's also a notes section where you can add anything additional like bowel movements or if you were anxious that day etc. You can pack lots of info into each day and it becomes a priceless resource when it comes to reviewing your diet.
