Easy to install. Also came very well packaged. Thick polystyrene protectors on each corners and further polystyrene protectors either side through the length of it. Wrapped in some kind of bubble wrap and boxed in a very thick hard wearing cardboard.
When delivered i immediately went home (as it was left outside my front door delivery people did not call ahead 30 mins before as pre-requested). I saw a text come through but equally as I drove back home my good neighbour text to say it was left in my doorstep.
I immediately took it out of the box the examine it for any damage. After seeing home much effort was put into the package I guess I felt reassured so a quick once over (mainly checking corners as that’s where most damage is) looked fine, then placed it back in the box as I had to get back to work.
Yesterday I had enough time to fit the rad (rad was in box through this time since delivered and as I started to unpack it the second time and add the new radiator tails for the valves I noticed 2 chipped indentations. So disappointed ☹️. How could that be? It must have been damaged before transit.
I decided to fit it, I knew a review would be imminent, so here we are.
My review is simple, my rad looks great but shame it’s damaged and I have concluded it was damaged before or due the packaging process. I cannot see how it got damaged during transit or when unpacking at my home.
I’m a qualified gas engineer and before that a I was a qualified plumber. I have developed a safe and methodical process to when and how I fit my rads. I’m not slap dash. I’m 100% certain I did not cause those indentations/chips.
