“Package came on time and nicely wrapped. There was a protective 'sock' on the main chrome/brass tube which gave good protection.
In the product description it said '... and durable plastic'. I asked Support which parts were plastic. They said the handset. So I bought it. This is not correct. The main head is plastic and also the two 'cup' attachments you screw to the wall that the two mounting points fit in to. So was disappointed in this, hence only 4 stars.
There is only one screw per 'cup'. Could have done with two washers to distribute the stress on the cup as the screw head is only slightly bigger than the hole.
The piece which attaches at the bottom of the main tube where the hoses attach does not tighten completely, you can wiggle it back and forth but the rubber washer inside seems to prevent any leaks. Of course, it may be my DIY skills at fault, but I tried a number of times to tighten it completely.
Another puzzling thing is I thought the handset would function on its own to rinse the shower out. Due to the selector handle arrangement, you can only have Off, Shower only on, Shower and Handset on, but not the handset on its own.
Having said all that, It was simple to install on the bathroom wall. I've now used it a number of times and it's still on the wall and working. So it's doing its job.
I think it is slightly over-priced due to the plastic elements.”
