“Good string. They respond very well the arco and pizzicato. They are a bit less bright than spirocore, but they work very well together with spirocore. In my bass I have G Obligato, and the rest (D A E) spirocore light, and they are very well balanced.”

“The Obligato strings are good all-round synthetic alternative for the D and G strings (3/4 double bass). Mine are paired with Spirocore mediums on the E and A, and the balance is excellent.”
