“I had bought a set of Prelude steel core strings, to replace after a synthetic core string broke, but found them too harsh for my violin. I wanted to return to synthetic core and found these a much better match for my violin and my preference for mellow sounds, and at such a good price! I will see how they behave with time but so far I really like them.”
