WHAT ARE IBERICO BABY BACK RIBS? Iberico Baby Back pork ribs are cut straight from the Iberico pork loin. They are very succulent and tasty whilst maintaining our excellent quality. They are smaller in size than ribs of a standard white pig, however the flavour of Iberico ribs is far superior. Indigenous black Iberico pigs wander the Dehesa forests of southwest Spain munching on herbs, grass and most importantly, acorns. Not only are they the happiest pigs on earth, but this diet adds wonderful flavour to these Baby Back pork ribs and all that exercise fosters the marbling that makes Iberico pork ribs so special. The acorn and herb flavoured pork is high in mono-unsaturated fats that melt at low temperatures, and is more healthy than the fat from normal pork. Iberico Baby Back pork ribs have much more fat content than standard white pork ribs but their flavour is much more complex because of the grass, herbs and acorns on which the animals grazed on. Iberico Baby Back ribs are easy to prepare and don't take long to cook. Please note our baby back ribs can vary in size and length. HOW TO COOK IBERICO BABY BACK RIBS? They are perfect on the grill, barbecue or cooked in a casserole. Whether you give them a dry rub or create your own favourite marinade, rest assure these Spanish Iberian ribs will satisfy the most demanding palate. HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY IBERICO BABY BACK RIBS? You will receive one frozen vac pack of Iberico Baby Back ribs delivered on ice pads. If you are not using the ribs straight away, store in the freezer. If you are, then you will need to thaw it in the fridge for at least 24 hours before cooking. PLEASE NOTE THAT WEIGHTS CAN VARY FROM RIBS TO RIBS, SO EXPECT A SLIGHT VARIATION ON THE THE WEIGHT OF YOUR COSTILLA IBERICA.

The third product that I chose from the Basco range was the ribs. I decided to buy several packs because there are various ways that we like to prepare them. Firstly, my wife likes to make a Filipino dish called sinigang, and the advantage of the Basco ribs is that the amount of beautiful meat on them is very generous. Another way is simply oven-cooking them with a sticky glaze, and as soon as the spring weather is on our side at a weekend, we are determined to barbecue a full pack. We shall soon be returning to Basco with another order; the products we have tried so far have been absolutely superb, as is the very efficient service - the delivery is first class and the ice-box that the products arrive in leaves nothing to chance if they cannot be put in a freezer or refrigerator straight away. Bravo, Basco!

You know the food is good when everyone around the table forgets to Instagram it... Eating silently bar for some appreciative lip smacking. These ribs are the best ribs we have tasted. Rich in flavour, with melt in the mouth texture and plenty of meat on the bone. All you need on the side is a simple salad.

Fantastic flavour and larger than expected cuts arrived on time as usual! I would highly recommend using a Spanish sweet paprika rub and cooking sous vide for 12-18 hours before finishing off at very high heat bbq.

I have never had better ribs. And for the price....What a bargain. I cooked one lot on the smoker and the others in the oven. Both turned out amazing. Lots of meat, and a nice marbling of fat to keep them tasty and moist!
