A good selction or beetles, made well and sold at a reasonable price. Tried one last night but sadly lost it when I got smashed by a big specimen.

Beetles are all well made and look very good - we were very impressed and looked forward to trying them out. However, a morning fishing around the margins and under the trees last Saturday saw a zero return. The local trout were just not interested. Perhaps it was the weather, maybe they were just feeding somewhere else. So we have our beetles (well - nearly all our beetles because one is still stuck in a tree by the side of the lake) and we will use them again when we visit Clatworthy reservoir next month. The beetle stuck in the tree is also testament to the quality and strength of the hooks that you use. As very new and very keen fly fishers, we will keep trying and watching your emails for different tactics and best advice.
