“Not my first pair and, as before, the delivery was prompt delivery and they are of good quality. I went against their advice and bought a pair in my actual foot size rather than 1 size up and they fit fine.”

“I love my Backdoor shoes, to the extent that I have worn one pair out and the second is heading in the same direction, so I ordered another pair. This pair is rather firmer than its predecessors so is not so comfortable - I wonder if the material is different? I'm hoping it will soften with time. I have to go for the men's version as I need a size 9 - shame that the design/colour choices for men aren't as nice as the ladies' ones!”

Dear Susan , thank you for your valued review - We aim for 5 stars every time so are sorry that you couldn’t give us the extra one . Good news : The material is identical to what we’ve always used. They will soften very quickly once you wear them . If you’d like to speed up the process simply heat them for 1-2 minutes with a hairdryer on hot from 15cm and then wear them with socks for an hour or two . We are currently working on our new designs for 2025 which will include some brighter colours in bigger sizes . Kind regards Stephen

“I don't normally like doing a review so soon after purchase as I haven't had that much experience with the product. Delivery was very quick and the price was better than the obvious alternative. NOTE the sizing suggestion that you need to go up a size. I'd even think 2 sizes could be OK if you want easy slip on/off. They do the job well and sit by the back door. Can't voucher for longevity.”

“My husband is very pleased with these shoes. I ordered the next size up as recommended and they fit perfectly, for the time being he has decided not to use the insoles. In fact he finds them so comfortable I have ordered a second pair in brown for him.”
