“Had to use different (alternative) inserts to provide a more comfortable fit as my shoe size is ~9 1/2. These 'garden shoes' are of relatively soft material which on hard surfaces, as in shed with (say) concrete floor, are inclined to wear out leaving holes in the sole, whilst the uppers are still serviceable, and a shame to dispose of. The present model seems to have a more robust sole with an embossed tread pattern which would wear down first leaving the main sole with some extra life. Overall, satisfactory product though the price could be more competitive in comparison to other equivalent 'garden/shed shoes'.”
