“This product appears to be an exact replica of a model made by Hauck, but without the integral base mat, and hence lower priced. So far it meets all my needs and seems to be well made. The absence of a base mat that would secure to the sides does mean that a strong toddler could push the pen around from within, but with the quite heavy steel construction this is a long way off for my grandchild. As with the Hauck model, although the playpen can be used as a room divider, swapping roles frequently is not really feasible since each side panel's hinge needs to be released and then re-tightened using the allen key provided. Similarly, it is not a quick option to fold the playpen up when its space is needed for other activities.”
