“We bought this as my four-month-old started rolling over in his cot and insisted on sleeping on his front. I was getting very little sleep as I kept getting up to check he was breathing. We bought this to give me some peace of mind. It’s very comforting to see the flashing of the light every time movement/breathing is detected and it has meant that I’m getting out of bed less frequently. My only worry is that on a few occasions the monitor has failed to go off after the baby was lifted out of the cot (on one occasion it took fifteen minutes before the alarm went off). I’m not sure why this happened, but let’s hope these lapses don’t become more regular.”
