“A common motor of the design used in many cars. Plastic housing. Mine had broken and been subjected to inadequate plastic glue. Used “To the Garage: Secrets of the XK8” on YouTube to learn how to remove and replace. Eyeball if you have a 3 pin motor or an 8 pin motor before ordering. 8 pin for memory seats/mirrors. 3 pin for cars without. But not always.”

“The item arrived safely and will packed asking with a replacement mirror and mounting bracket. As I live in Spain I collected this order on a recent trip back to the UK. I fitted the motor and accessories two days ago. The motor moves the mirror left and right but not up and down. The motor body has two separate motors one doing vertical movement the other horizontal. I suspect one of the individual motors doesn't work and may not of been tested. I've checked the mirror mounting and can see no obstruction or reason for it not to work. I'll contact the company to see if they can resolve this issue. Following contact the company immediately sent a replacement for no charge and I was not required to return the faulty item. I was only asked to photograph the old item to show the quality checked initials. I eventually fitted the item and it now works perfectly. Many thanks for great service.”
