“I fitted these to my 2017 mineral grey M2. While they look much better then the stock wing mirrors, I had one issue. The spacing at the top of the mirror unit, where it comes back in an nearly touches the car, is noticeably tighter on the passenger side. I can’t fit a finger between the natural break at the top of the unit on the passenger side, less then a half inch gap, however I can easily fit my finger down the gap on the driver side, like an inch gap. Was told this is just to way they’re made, to cheapen the cost so they can sell world wide. A little disappointing as this wasn’t mentioned anywhere, I’d still recommend the product, but I’d rather pay a little more if they could match the fitment on both sides”

“Excellent service from Josh and fitted by Jack at AUTOID HQ in no time. Lovely bunch of gents willing to give up their time to talk cars with you. The painted Mirror units look as though they should’ve come fitted from factory. Gives the car a much wider and aggressive stance and completely changes the front end. Extremely happy with the fit and finish and would highly recommend these over any other clip on style caps as they just look cheap and nasty compared to these stunning units which match the paintwork perfectly giving the perfect OEM+ look. A must have for any OG M2!”

“Overall these mirrors are well worth what they cost, fitment is 98% of factory, finish is good, and the instructional video they will send you [if you ask] details what you need to know pretty well. One wouldn't think that mirrors could make such a huge impact on the overall visual appearance of a car, but these really do. They should have been my first mod.”

“Great experience with the AutoID team from start to finish. Very happy with the product and they look even better than I imagined. Extremely high quality, and the colour match is spot on with the Long Beach Blue paintwork. I had the mirrors fitted directly at AutoID which was really efficient and I was on my way in no time at all. “The product itself I would rate a 5 out of 5. Looks great, fits well, color matches. Two thumbs up! The installation I would rate a 3 because while the video is helpful I think instruction manual with diagrams pointing out the holes and clips to align and screw locations would have been really helpful. Without it, the first of the two mirrors took almost an hour to install, mainly because I couldn't figure out how to align the mirror base and the mirror housing correctly. Even once the two were aligned, I still had to play around with the screws a bit to dial in the fitment. A diagram showing the order of the screws for reassembly would have been helpful here. The video is also a bit vague in showing how to align the mirror cap correctly to snap it in place. As a result, it was almost a leap of faith exercise and this portion of the install was the part I was most nervous about. Lastly, since this install requires disconnecting some electrical connectors, it would have been nice to have guidance on whether disconnecting the battery was required or recommended. For shipping, I understand that this is not really the fault of the vendor but it took a bit over 2 weeks in transit and I live in a pretty large city. At least the packaging was excellent. Just wanted to set that expectation for anyone ordering the product from outside of UK/Europe.”
