“The product itself I would rate a 5 out of 5. Looks great, fits well, color matches. Two thumbs up! The installation I would rate a 3 because while the video is helpful I think instruction manual with diagrams pointing out the holes and clips to align and screw locations would have been really helpful. Without it, the first of the two mirrors took almost an hour to install, mainly because I couldn't figure out how to align the mirror base and the mirror housing correctly. Even once the two were aligned, I still had to play around with the screws a bit to dial in the fitment. A diagram showing the order of the screws for reassembly would have been helpful here. The video is also a bit vague in showing how to align the mirror cap correctly to snap it in place. As a result, it was almost a leap of faith exercise and this portion of the install was the part I was most nervous about. Lastly, since this install requires disconnecting some electrical connectors, it would have been nice to have guidance on whether disconnecting the battery was required or recommended. For shipping, I understand that this is not really the fault of the vendor but it took a bit over 2 weeks in transit and I live in a pretty large city. At least the packaging was excellent. Just wanted to set that expectation for anyone ordering the product from outside of UK/Europe.”
