“Have not been installed yet. But.........Big Kudos to Sam and his team at Autoid. They are first rate!!! After a long long wait and the courier finally admitting to losing my order, Sam stepped up and shipped another set of Mirror caps. I thought for a while I had lost my money. The wait was worth it. “I’ve just recently returned from having mine fitted by the team at autoid. No complaints whatsoever. All done and dusted within 30 minutes, and a nice finish on the mirrors making them virtually impossible to tell apart from the real thing. If I was being hyper critical, the gap on the drivers side and passenger side (between the car and the mirrors) is slightly different, but I am told this is because of the right hand drive nature of UK 140i’s and the actual design of the car itself. Honestly, this is not a big issue, if I had a magic wand I’d even the gap out, but it’s not a showstopper, and I’d have no hesitation in recommending these mirrors. They are a quality product which have given my car the OEM plus look I wanted. The other thing I’d say is the autoid team were very helpful and knowledgeable. Again, these mirrors come highly recommended and you won’t be disappointed.”

“Today (9/1/21) I was excited to install my new mirrors as I ordered them back in November last year! While the end goal appearance is nice, there were a few issues: 1. The most annoying issue is a high pitched sound the left mirror makes over 70km/hr, looking closer the left mirror is much closer to the body of the car than the right, with previous reviews pointing this out, this predisposes the mirror to making high pitch whistling sounds as air is channeled through the smaller gap. Due to this issue I will unfortunately likely return back to stock mirrors or look at alternatives. 2. My right mirror cap came scratched (very small), I used white out to hide this, not a deal breaker. 3. The fitment with the indicators weren't perfect, with the ends of both indicators slightly protruding backwards (on the mirror side), not a deal breaker. In summary I would of been stoked if these mirrors didn't make a sound and ruin my sunset cruises with the windows down!”

“Excellent service from Josh and fitted by Jack at AUTOID HQ in no time. Lovely bunch of gents willing to give up their time to talk cars with you. The painted Mirror units look as though they should’ve come fitted from factory. Gives the car a much wider and aggressive stance and completely changes the front end. Extremely happy with the fit and finish and would highly recommend these over any other clip on style caps as they just look cheap and nasty compared to these stunning units which match the paintwork perfectly giving the perfect OEM+ look. A must have for any OG M2!”
