“I am sorry to write this review as all Auto Finesse products I have used so far are brilliant, but Aqua coat is awful, I prepared the vehicle as stated on the bottle, gave a light spray over the car and rinsed thoroughly, well I nearly died as I thought there had been a reaction to the ceramic coating on my car as the streaking was terrible !! Thankfully my wife was able to help and we had to use another company's product to remove the Aqua coat residue, pretty scary on a £50,000 car !! It doesn't help that full instructions including how to deal with streaking is buried on the Autofinesse website and not on the package ..... It is only this product the rest of the range is excellent”

Hello Michael, Thanks for your review. I am sorry to hear that you have found Aqua Coat to be awful. When applying Aqua Coat we advise the following: 1. Wash the car as you would normally with shampoo and rinse well. 2. While the car is still dripping wet, lightly spritz the car with the Aqua Coat(a little goes along way), one panel at a time. 3. Almost immediately, thoroughly rinse the car with the jet wash. The light dots/specks that can be left behind by the Aqua Coat can be caused by one of two things... either the Aqua Coat was used too generously and not rinsed quickly enough before it dried OR the Temperature of the car/air was too warm/cold and what was applied dried before you even had a chance to rinse it. If you do get the marks once the car is dried then you will need to try applying a little Aqua Coat to a clean fresh micro fibre and wipe the panels down to re-activate the product. Alternatively, you can use a quick detailer to do the same job -something like Finale is perfect! I am also sorry to hear that you had been unable to find any information on how to rectify these effects of Aqua Coat. Our customer services team are always happy to assist customers with any queries they may have. With the packaging on the bottle there just is not enough space for the information we would like to provide to our customers if they experience this issue. “Being new to this game, I was recommended aqua coat by a friend. I’ve got to say, it doesn’t disappoint. It took me a few uses to get the too little/too much ratio correct. Easy to use, great results. Would highly recommend it.”
